These are the things I love about Gag.....
He is a strong man, yet very gentle.
He is hard working, yet lives his life in the slow pace.
He loves wholehearted, yet doesn't smother.
He gives and gives, yet never expects in return.
He has seen much sorrow, yet never complains.
His compassion is deep, and his understanding even deeper.
He has the patience of a wise man, and the wisdom of an old soul.
Though he is a quiet man, he says much with his actions.
This is the man I love...!
And death shall have no dominion.
Dead men naked they shall be one
With the man in the wind and the west moon;
When their bones are picked clean and the clean bones gone,
They shall have stars at elbow and foot;
Though they go mad they shall be sane,
Though they sink through the sea they shall rise again
Though lovers be lost love shall not;
And death shall have no dominion
Dylan Thomas

ReplyDeleteDear
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry to know.The only truth in this mortal world is Death.One may not take birth but once born death is the reality.In the holy scripture of Hindus"The Gita" it has been said that death never occurs it is only changing of worn out body just like one changes his broken house for a newer one.Still it is a loss and so many solace may not be adequate for you.It is the time what matters.But I hope He will remain forever with you though not bodily but in spirit.
Amen.
ReplyDeleteHe may physically be gone, but I feel his presence. I so vividly can see his smiling face, his upbeat attitude, taking a bite out of a napolean, sneering at feta cheese, and I can hear him crack yet another one of his thousand jokes. I love you gag !
